So how do we assist you in planning your requirements?
Our design team will visit your premises and clearly explain the
opportunities and limitations of your current system. We will then
plan a new solution that incorporates flexibility inherent in design
and concept, at minimum cost and disruption to the staff.
Structured cabling systems, developed in the 1980s, enable buildings
to be flood wired with a compact twisted pair cable, in place of
the often bulky and expensive protocol-dependant coaxial or multicore
types. The flood- wiring installation technique allows for technical
upgrades and repositioning of hardware - without major re-wiring.
Flexibility is therefore inherent in the design concept of a structured
cabling system.

In its infancy, the twisted pair technology employed
supported only low rates of data transmission, but its capability
has been rapidly developed to support the 100MHz specification widely
known as Category 5 and 5e. Future changes to the structure or layout
of the computer network may be carried out with the minimum of cost
and disruption to staff.
